Hi, I’m Cheren, an integrative counsellor offering online therapy in a calm, confidential, and supportive space.
I bring over two decades of experience working within the NHS, supporting people across a wide range of emotional, psychological, and life challenges. This work has given me a strong understanding of how stress, trauma, loss, and transition can affect our inner world and relationships over time.
I am a qualified counsellor, having completed a Level 4 CPCAB Diploma in Counselling, and I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework, placing safety, confidentiality, and professional integrity at the heart of my practice.
My journey into counselling developed through both professional experience and personal reflection. During my training, a tutor described therapy as supporting someone to reconnect with their sense of being and purpose. That description resonated deeply and continues to guide how I work.
I practise integratively, meaning I draw from different therapeutic approaches to meet you as an individual, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model. The therapeutic relationship is central to my work — offering a space that is respectful, emotionally attuned, and paced around you.
You don’t need to arrive with clear answers or the “right” words. Therapy can be a place to slow down, explore what feels difficult, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels manageable and supported.
If you’re considering counselling, you’re welcome to get in touch to arrange an free 15-minute initial consultation and see whether working together feels right for you.
Areas I work with
Anxiety and emotional overwhelm
Low self-esteem and self-doubt
Grief and loss
Life transitions and identity questions
Relationship and family difficulties
Stress linked to work or caring roles
Time and Pace
Therapy isn’t about pushing for solutions or moving faster than feels comfortable. It’s a space where you can take time to explore your thoughts and feelings without pressure.
We work collaboratively and review things together, allowing therapy to progress in a way that feels manageable and supportive for you.
The Therapeutic Relationship
The relationship we build is central to the work. I aim to offer a non-judgemental, emotionally safe space where you feel heard, respected, and supported.
How long will therapy last?
There’s no fixed number of sessions. Some people come for short-term support, while others prefer to work in a more open-ended way.
We can check in regularly about how therapy is feeling and what you need, adjusting as we go — always guided by what feels helpful and appropriate for you.
